Dental material manufacturer Ultradent Products has released J-Temp temporary resin, a premixed, light-cured resin.
The resin can be used for procedures, including bite ramps and temporary occlusal buildups and restorations. According to Ultradent, the resin is viscous enough so that it won't run but fluid enough to be self-leveling. Further, its light purple color makes it easy to identify and remove.
