Komet USA has named Mercedes Aycinena its new CEO effective August 1.
Aycinena, 45, joined the company in 2021 as director of marketing and product management and was appointed chief of staff in April 2022. Originally from Madrid, Aycinena brings 20 years of diversified experience in strategy development, marketing, communications, sales, and product management to the role, Komet said.

Image courtesy of Komet USA.Aycinena received a bachelor's degree from University San Pablo CEU in Madrid and attended the University of California, Los Angeles for a postgraduate certification. She obtained a master's degree in marketing communication at Loyola University Chicago.
Aycinena will be based out of Komet USA's headquarters in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
