DEXIS has unveiled a coordinated wave of innovations spanning hardware, software, cloud, education, and services, advancing the company's connected, AI-powered imaging ecosystem, according to a press release from DEXIS. Robert Befidi, president of DEXIS, said each innovation solves a different customer challenge while collectively helping clinicians see more clearly and improve outcomes.
On the hardware side, the Nomad Pro 3 builds on DEXIS's handheld x-ray system with improved image quality and durability, DEXIS said, while the Orthopantomograph OP 3D's new Motion Correction feature reduces the impact of patient movement on cone-beam computed tomography images without hardware updates. In scanning, IS ScanFlow adds a SEAT protocol for implant workflows, and a new DEXIS Imprevo slim tip improves access in tight anatomies.
DTX Studio Clinic (version 4.10) introduces an Endodontic Module for 3D visualization of root canal anatomy, and DEXIS IOS Cloud (formerly IS Connect) adds a new 3Shape lab integration. New hardware as a service models offer predictable monthly pricing and upgrade pathways while DEXIS Academy expands training and peer-engagement resources, it said. DEXIS is also deepening integrations with Asiga, 3Shape and SmileGrid, it added.
The updates were unveiled during DEXIS's Illuminate virtual keynote address.
