DEXIS announced that three of its digital dentistry solutions -- DEXIS Imprevo, the Orthopantomograph OP 3D LX, and the integrated digital workflow of DTX Studio Clinic -- received independent certification from the Digital Dentistry Society (DDS), a global scientific organization dedicated to advancing evidence-based digital dentistry.
DDS evaluated each solution independently against its certification criteria for safety, usability, and clinical relevance. The certifications span the company's imaging, scanning, and diagnostics product lines.
The OP 3D LX delivers high-quality 3D imaging across a wide range of clinical applications, while Imprevo provides fast, accurate intraoral scanning, DEXIS said in a press release. DTX Studio Clinic unites all the data -- combining 2D x-rays, cone-beam computed tomography, intraoral scans, and clinical images into one platform -- creating a streamlined AI-powered digital workflow from image capture through treatment planning, DEXIS said.
"Recognition from the Digital Dentistry Society underscores our commitment to delivering technologies that help clinicians work more efficiently and confidently," said Robert Befidi, president of diagnostics at Envista.
DEXIS, part of the Envista family of brands, has more than 150,000 DEXIS dental imaging devices in practices worldwide.
