Planet DDS has launched AI Voice Restorative Charting, an addition to its Clinical Voice+ Suite within Denticon.
The tool uses voice commands to document restorative exam findings, including decay, existing restorations, fractures, and treatment plan entries. The system recognizes dental terminology, abbreviations, and compound voice commands. A real-time overlay panel displays captured findings as providers speak, and mid-exam corrections can be made by voice command, Planet DDS said.
AI Voice Restorative Charting is available to Denticon customers. Additional AI clinical tools, including AI Voice Treatment Plan and AI Ambient Voice, are scheduled for 2026, Planet DDS said.
