Dentists launch independent platform to help practices choose the right tech

Dental Tech Hub (DTH), an independent technology advisory platform for dental practices, launched publicly on July 1 with more than 500 vendors classified by its editorial team and an AI adviser named Mola that helps practices identify the right tools based on their specific challenges rather than vendor categories.

The platform was co-founded by Drs. Khamir Patel and Rohan Shah -- both practicing clinicians who saw firsthand how often practices adopted the wrong technology. Patel spent 12 years installing software in dental practices; Shah runs six practices and grew frustrated with recommendation systems driven by vendor influence rather than fit. DTH accepts no payment for placement.

Practices can begin a search by describing a problem in plain language. They receive a tailored shortlist from Mola and can book demos directly from vendor profiles in one click. A companion 2026 report on how dental practices actually choose technology is available free at dentaltechhub.com.
