Kolibree introduces new games, products at CES 2016

Kolibree is introducing new games that use the company's connected sonic toothbrush at this week's 2016 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2016) in Las Vegas.

The company also announced it will release new products for children in spring 2016, including an orthodontic brush head in three colors, accessories such as stickers to customize toothbrush handles, a brush head cap, and a mirror-mounted phone holder. Kolibree is also adding three-mode sonic vibration, new toothbrush colors, firmware updates, and a longer battery life.

Scheduled for release this spring, the four new games use Kolibree's connected sonic toothbrush as a controller with 3D motion sensors to guide users to brush their teeth better, according to the company.

The new games are listed below:

  • Rabbids Invasion -- Characters from the video games and TV series "Rabbids Invasion" are included in child-friendly teaching tools to help kids learn to brush their teeth better. For ages 2 to 12.
  • La Fontaine's Fables -- Children hear a story as they brush. When they stop brushing, the story stops. For ages 3 to 6.
  • Dive Olly Dive -- Olly the Happy Submarine finds adventure under the sea. For ages 6 to 12.
  • Rage Against the Zombies -- This game uses Kolibree's new orthodontics brush head for people with braces. For patients 12 and older.

For adults, Kolibree is also adding an offline mode for its toothbrush app, allowing users to brush without opening the app every time and still have data stored to transfer to the app the text time it's opened. Available for $149.

Kolibree's smart sonic toothbrush offers gaming for both iOS and Android platforms. For more information, visit kolibree.com.
