Avista Capital Partners, a private equity firm, has completed its previously announced acquisition of Solmetex. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition will allow Solmetex to continue delivering environmentally responsible dental waste technologies and programs to its physician partners and the communities they serve, according to a press release. Avista also said that Solmetex has room to grow domestically and internationally.
