Dental products manufacturer Dentsply Sirona is continuing its partnership with nonprofit TeamSmile into 2025.
As part of its ongoing support of the nonprofit, Dentsply Sirona is donating $135,000 and providing company volunteer support at TeamSmile events that offer free dental screenings and treatments, as well as oral healthcare resources, to underserved children. The company is a gold sponsor of two upcoming TeamSmile events that will be held in Charlotte, NC.
The commitment is part of Dentsply Sirona’s sustainability program, which aims to result in 25 million healthy smiles by 2025, according to a press release issued by the company on February 16.
TeamSmile pairs oral health professionals with professional athletic organizations to provide dental care and resources to underserved children in the U.S.
