Carestream Dental has announced a strategic alliance with the ADA Forsyth Institute, a leading independent oral health research organization, through the donation of a cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging system to the institute's clinical facility, ADA Forsyth Faculty Associates.
The advanced 3D-imaging technology will support a broad range of oral health research initiatives at Forsyth's Center for Clinical and Translational Research, helping accelerate scientific discovery while advancing patient-centered care, according to a press release. Clinical and research applications include implant dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, airway analysis, and digital workflow research.
